Hi folks,

does anyone have the foggiest idea what this is? It's about 6 inches in height/diameter, in a ball shape. I bought loads last year and have 'mislaid' every single label! One of the plants has some new growth, but the rest have remained static since last summer. I have a vague memory that it is some kind of Australian something or other, but no idea what!

Many thanks for your help

Is that a bulb in the middle or the silvery stuff around it.?

The silvery stuff, fidget, the stuff in the middle is that burgundy spikey plant who's name  escapes me at the moment! Not brilliant on names....

That's it! Thank you so much, ladybird, I've been googling for days, until I hit on the bright idea of asking you guys!   suspect its not going to do so well up here in central Scotland, but bought it on impulse  last year as it was so pretty.
