Smoke Bush

afternoon,

I am sure I saw something recently about sick looking smoke bushes   I have  2 well established ones that are looking totally bare. Anyone got the same problem?

    Lilly 

    I would give them some bonemeal to the soil and a good watering. I have 2 in my garden and they will take a good pruning to reinvigorate it. Are they showing signs of new buds or are they completely bare. By now, you should have lush deep purple leaves appearing on the shrub

    very happy that you have some sign of live image. Just persevere as they are a beautiful shrub and normally are trouble free. Just a question, it's it in a sunny position

    jusr happen to be on and catch you!

    yup both in sunny places one against a wall under May Gold. The other free standing in a well drained site. We are very high here and in a frost pocket. I thin they are just sulking because of the cold. Aren't we all?
