Naming plants

hi everyone, do you have trouble remembering what the name of your plants are. I know quite a few names but.....?

As soon as someone points to a plant in my garden and asks me what it is - my mind goes blank!????

I try to memorise the common name but feel I should learn the Latin name, and end up not remembering any name????

I don't want to stick labels all over the place so I was wondering does anyone else have this problem and has anyone got a good way of remembering plant names that they could pass onto me pls????

    Do you have digital camera and access to a printer? If yes, take photos of the garden, print the photos on A4 paper and "name" the plants here - no labels all over the garden.

    Even easier.  Store all the labels from the plants in a box in your shed.  Rough plan of the garden with the name on that too.
