Kniphofia question

Morning,

Ive got some rooperi and toffee nosed on order, but before I plant them out I just wanted to ask if they were similar to alliums i.e. only one flower per plant or do they send up multiple stems (if so what spacing should I be looking at)?

    The most important thing to do with Kniphofia, is not to go into a garden centre ( a the father of a friend did ) and ask for " necrophilia"

    They do make clumps with more than one stem, if they like your garden.
