Please help me identify this plant.

Hello,
I recently bought this plant from a garden centre, but it had no identification tag and the staff couldn't remember what it is.
It is about 1ft in height, has a narrow woody stem and tiny bud like flowers.
Any help in identifying this plant would be very much 
appreciated...thank you.

It might be boronia.
Thank you Ceres...think you could be right, after doing an internet search.
Hope I can look after my lovely find properly in our climate.
