It's my anniversary on Sunday and I would really like to visit a garden. I live in Birmingham and don't mind staying over night and making a weekend of it. Any suggestions on where to visit? Or if it's a bit early in the year? I live roses and Daliah,

From Birmingham, you are not far from David Austins rose gardens, although it may be a bit early and they will be far better in three weeks time.

Check the National Garden scheme website NGS.ORG for gardens open in your area. They come in all shapes and sizes from comparatively small private gardens to massive stately homes.
