Lawn Weeds(?)

I am currently treating my lawn with a well know treatment that offers 4 treatments in 1 - it looks to be working well. However, my lawn is gradually being overtaken by a particular plant - and I do not know what it is or how to treat it. I fear if I do not do something soon it will take over my whole lawn. Any advice appreciated.

Hi quarkrad. It looks to me like yellow suckling clover. Unfortunately this is quite difficult to control. Small patches can be dug out manually and selective weedkillers can help to control it.
