baby spiders?

when I went out earlier I saw what looked liked a cluster of light brownish orangey seeds in a cobweb, when i poked at the cluster loads of what looked like baby spiders tumbled out... they were on a hardy geranium which is by lots of pots with all ,my plants waititng to be planted, are they harmless or do I need to act? only real damage I've seen in from snails on lots of young plants and something is having a good eat of potted raspberry

Gorgeous. I remember having some on a plant years ago, and when you touched the tight ball they made, they scattered at a million miles an hour! image
