Pond Life Identification

Hello! I've had my little bucket pond for a while and everything seems to be quite settled, just trying to identify a creature in it (see picture).
They are very small (less than a pin head size), jet about a fair bit, and don't seem too much of a bother to the plants in the water, just curious to tell what it is. The closest thing I've come across is a daphnia but I'm not convinced it's that...
Any thoughts?

Hi James. Difficult to tell from your picture but they could be either daphnia as you state or cyclops.
Look more like Ostracods. These have a smooth swimming motion - Daphnia & Cyclops move in little jumps.
I think Ostracods is it! Now I can read up on them and find out what they do..
Thank you both for your replies
