Variegated weigeila. Is it me?

in Plants
I have a variegated weigela which is the bushier mature shrub in the pictures . I love it so much that I bought another to fill a gap in my hedge.I ordered online and expected it to have similar variegation on the leaves. However, the other pic of a potted plant shows how it arrived. Is it me or is it very different to all the weigela florida variegated 'nana' plants shown in pics on Google? It is also very different to mine. The leaves are disappointing, the variegation is barely there. I'm one of those that finds variegation pretty, which is why I ordered another.
I hope the pics show up.
So,am I being fussy? What do others think?

Hi Tiny. There is only one pic showing that I can see but I understand what you mean about the variegation. It looks like just a sliver of silver around the edge of each leaf. Will this actually broaden as the plant matures do you think? It is still a very pretty plant.
Yes I do feel a bit ripped off. I paid £9.99 + £4.99 postage. My other pic won't send for some reason. I wish I could show you the difference, my other one is lovely.
Thank you both, I might try the cuttings root.
Just wanted a larger plant for screening really.
That's my original shrub
I have weigelia nana and Florida in my garden and what you have been supplied with us not any of them. As Tetley has stated some online plant suppliers can be deceiving to say the least. I use paddock plants suppliers and have never been disappointed. Email them beak and request your money back based its not what you ordered and their products seem to be poor
Tetley. I agree with you. I am a perennial (thats me - not the plants!) plant rescuer from bargain bins and sad Supermarket displays!
I really should learn my lesson. The trouble is I was visiting Morrisons (with their lovely plant section and great prices) and garden centres on an almost weekly basis to look for specific plants! I was wasting so much time and with 2 pre school children it's time I don't have. Online ordering seemed more efficient but clearly not.
Thanks for all you advice
I'll try to get my money back as it wasn't me being fussy after all.
Ooh thank you aym! It really is my favourite!
I will try with cuttings again. I've been unsuccessful in the past but then I am still a newbie gardener. I will try again and fight the temptation to keep wanting to check the roots
I'm terribly impatient.
Thanks again, I've done the cuttings but will need a bit more growth near the ground for the layering.I'll wait a bit.
Quick update. The seller has offered a free replacement but cannot offer me an actual picture beforehand. I'm not going to risk it.
Thanks so much for the encouraging advice, I was put off after failing with cuttings last year but have tried again from today
