Coffee Grounds

ive been given a 3L pot of coffee grounds from the local cafe.

I have heard that it is good for the garden?

can someone give me some advise of the best way to use them?

Thanks

Some layer them round plants to keep off slugs, I just add them to the compost bins

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Coffee grounds still contain a fair amount of nutrients, I sprinkle them around the garden and lightly fork in as you would wood ash.

They only really deter slugs if dry unfortunately! image
