Good morning.

Two large trees have been removed from the boarder.

The lawn below the tree canopy was always poor.

Now there is more light, however uneven patches, some with very poor drainage.

The garden is south facing, so should I scarify the area, Lay some pea shingle, and dig it in. Then add rotted compost, let that settle. then reseed with grass?
