Plum problems

I have a Victoria Plum tree on the patio, I have had this for 3 years. I get the same problem every year, I have enquired before (thankyou for those that previously replied), I have been feeding and watering it well and it is showing first fruit for the year but then these do not mature to plums. They are deformed and never fill out and then eventually fall off. This year I have more plums than ever but still the same problem. Not sure whether to remove some of the fruit... any suggestions appreciated. Kind regards Tony

I think you have pocket plum caused by a fungal infection.

I think it would do better planted in the soil, it sounds like you have it in a pot?
