Hi Sally. Leaf spots on bay leaves are indicative of waterlogged roots. Is your bay in a pot or the ground?

    In a pot

Hi again. It could  also be that the compost is exhausted of all its nutrients so think about repotting in fresh compost. The compost should a John Innes number 2 with added grit for drainage and the bay would improve with a slow release fertilier in the pot. They are better grown in the ground. Bays should be re potted every two years.
