Bluebell help

Advice needed please.
i have alwa been led to believe I should leave my bluebell leaves to die back, before removing them, but have since read I can now cut them back leaving a little green, I am now unsure what to do please help ?

I would leave them alone if you want the bluebells to flower next year
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thank you dove from above that's what I thought, it enables the bulbs to grow better next year, it was however another gardening site I read it from, but I think I will stick to what I already knew.
