my Jasmin (Trachelospermum)
My Jasmin was planted in my garden in 2014 and flowered in 2015.
Today I see that the leaves have a bronze tinge.
I have fed it with clematis food as the pack says it is for all climbing plants.
Can anyone tell me why it is so "browned off"

it could too dry or too wet (depending on the soil type) or it could have been hit by a late frost
Thank you treehugger80. It is heavy clay soil which is prone to holding the water so I suppose I just have to pray for some sun.
Mine does this every year at this time.
It's forming new leaves and the older ones are yellowing / bronzing and dropping off.
In a months time it will be beautifully green again and starting to flower.
Keep it watered and fed.
Mine has chicken pellets in March then tomato feed from June.
It's 8'x8' against a west facing wall in a pretty small pot. Probably rooted through the block paving though.
The wall my jasmine is on is East facing and is in a small plot with 3 Kew shrubs and a white clematis. The Kew is thriving but a bit late this year so I suppose all the plants in my little white garden will be a bit late. I am so glad to hear that the bronzing is normal and I will follow your suggestions on feeding. Thank you Auntiemand
