Mystery Tree

John364John364 Posts: 4

I was given this tree by my mother-in-law a couple of months ago, she doesn't know what it is, can anyone help please? It has only just come into leaf and has large leaves; I don't think it flowers or fruits. Picture below. I thought it was a type of Sumac but on reflection I don't think it is. Any help gratefully accepted.

You might also look at paulownia tomentosa.

What do you think Nut? Difficult when they're young.

Many thanks nutcut and Hostafan1, I have looked on Google for both of these and looks like a paulownia (assume that's the foxglove tree), but it hasn't flowered yet.

Nutcutlet, you could be right, at least it's now narrowed down to an either or, rather than no idea!

I'm not saying I'm right, just wanted to throw it in as a suggestion.

    They have their similarities.
