They don't like wind, being waterlogged or early morning sun so best plant them (or place the pot) in a sheltered spot which is west-facing. If planting in pots, use a John Innes #3 mixed with about 10% ericaceous compost as they prefer a slightly acid soil. If you grow them in a pot, raise it off the ground by using a pot stand or a few stones under it.
