Grapevines

I have a five year old grapevine in my greenhouse. It has produced flowers and looked very healthy, but the flowers have always fallen off. This year it has grown substantially, and is pushing out of the windows and within a couple of inches of the door. There are potentially  twenty to thirty bunches of tiny flowers/grapes, do I prune now to limit the number of bunches?

This is a link from the RHS about pruning grape vines. https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=284

I prune mine in winter, cutting each side shoot back to two or three buds. Then when the tiny bunches form I cut back to each bunch leaving one bunch to each stem. Later I cut back any shoots that are blocking the sun on the bunches and to keep it neat.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Thank you for your reply and advice.

Yes, I did the winter pruning, but cut back to one bud on each stem, so that was maybe a little severe. Now I will prune back the tiny bunches as you suggest. Thanks again for taking the time to help me.

Oh my reply has disappeared, can you tell I am new at this.

Thank you for your response and advice.

In winter I pruned back to one or two buds on each side shoot so this was maybe a little too severe.

I will cut back to one bunch on each stem as you suggest, thanks also for the link.
