Brown and dying buds on camassia
I have a number of camassia in my garden and all but one has brown and dying buds, the plant itself looks healthy, most are planted in an area where forget me nots discentra and bluebells grown, couple in large planters on a s/w facing wall, what am I doing wrong, I am so disappointed as the one that has flowered is beautiful.

This is a problem I've had with some white ones though the blue ones always do well. They don't like it too dry and I think it may be too dry here. Could that be a problem for yours?

I have just spoken to somebody at Hilliers garden centre and he thinks its frost damage, because we have had a relatively mild winter they started to form buds only to be knocked back by the frost we had early May. that seems to be a good explanation
see how they do next year. For me it's a persistent problem with the white clump.
