Sounds of the robin and the blackbird.  It makes me chuckle when the resident blackbird starts cussing at me when it wants to get in amongst the bugs where I'm digging.

    Birdsong. All of it.

  • The blackbirds at the end of the day....the goldfinches arriving in a twittering pack...the house martins overhead (not yet this year).

And hearing my cat Paws mewing loudly to find me in the garden if she can't see me because I'm weeding in the hedge. Love Spring/Summer!!

  • The sound of the blackbird and robin singing in the apple tree, the cat purring contentedly on the greenhouse staging and the silver birch whispering in the breeze. Later at night it's the soothing dance of water down the rock in my pond, the soft flutter of velvet wings in the darkness and the faint chink of a wine bottle on the edge of the glass.

The birds. I have robins, dunnocks, blackbirds, sparrows and goldfinches as regular visitors.
