Ground elder

Last year I'm sure I read a post that said someone used ground elder as ground cover.

Anyone want to 'fess up or am I bonkers?

Could they have been talking about the variagated one? I have some as ground cover. It's a thug, but nothing like the weed one and mush prettier. Deer don't eat it so if you have deer it can be useful.

Hi - if you ever get ground elder in your garden you'll never get rid of it. As you pull the roots out they break up & each tiny piece will re grow. It's a thug!

However, they are right about it being ground cover.....
