Honeysuckle with no flowers.

Why is my 3yr old honeysuckle refusing to flower since I bought it a couple yrs ago?

Hello! It can be a variety of things: does it have enough sun? have you watered it suffciently (they need a lot)? Fed it too much nitrogen, so that it grows lush green and no flowers? Then try a tomato feed.

I am thinking too much feed, so it grows too lush. Either don't feed it at all or give it tomato feed for flowers.

Are you over pruning it? I just give mine a tidy up after flowering.

  • Thank you very much - will sort it out.
