Finally managed to find a photo from last year the climbing plant is the one in the middle just leaves not the pink flowered one .It hasn't done anything at the moment wondering if it has died ? Thanks for your patience
Just been out and had a look at my campsis Nut - the leaflets are still unfurling, but they look a bit more 'irregular around the edges' than on the photo ....... but that might just be my campsis
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I thought Campsis on first glance too. I had one that flowered beautifully in "next doors'" garden the first year I moved in.
Funny thing was, I was that neighbour the year before! We bought the house at the bottom of the rented garden so I was happy to see the flowers on the south side of the fence when I rented then when I bought the plant with the house on the other side of the fence, I cut it back to invigorate it and it never flowered again.

Thanks for the info wouldn't wisteria be in leaf now ? There is nothing showing at the moment will see how it goes over the next few weeks .
Both those plants should be showing signs of life by now.
