Might be feverfew.
Hemlock smells mousy with a hint of parsnip and the stem has purple spots on it. More difficult to identify are the equally poisonoius hemlock water dropworts which resemble the herb Alexanders.
It looks like feverfew, against is the 'not unpleasant fragrance' mentioned. I wouldn't want the taste/smell of feverfew in my food
It's not parsley or hemlock or any member of that family

It smells very much like a herb. I guess it might be worth waiting on it flowering and then trying to identify it but I am very grateful for the replies.
Definitely feverfew. White daisy-like flowers. Self-seeds prolifically. Every time I think it's gone, it pops up again.
