A very badly pruned hibiscus I think

Thank you, Nutcutlet. Could you tell me in what way it has been badly pruned? I've just read a bit about hibiscus and the fact that they should be pruned hard. Is that it? This hibiscus has been pruned last autumn probably, before I moved here. Should it be pruned in spring?
it's been hedged pp, a shapeless blob. Thin some out and let others grow up. It will look more attractive

Totally agree with Nut, as ever.
I'm not fan of the Mr Blobby approach to plant shaping.
I think yout are right. Now that I know it's a hibiscus I can search for pictures and see how to make it more attractive. Thank you again, Nutcutlet.

In my opiion it's better to soft prune shrubs in the garden keeping them looking natural, mostly they are the wrong size plant put in the wrong place then get chopped back .......as in this case by the looks.
15 mins with some secateurs or 15 seconds with some hedgecutters, cut and run job methinks
