Can anyone identify these plants please?

imageHello

We moved in a new house a few months ago and this is our first time seeing the garden in spring.

I have a few plants that I don't know and would like to care for them properly.

Can anyone identify this one please? The flowers are now dying and I'm wondering whether I should cut them back or not. I just noticed snails seem to like the leaves.

Thank you.

Hi there. They are hellebores celineks4. You can remove the flower heads and any tatty old leaves which are probably last years or you could leave the flower heads and let them seed. You will then find lots of little 'babies' around the parent plant which you can pot up and grow on.
