Winter flowering Cherry, Prunus x subhirtella Autumnalis Rosea starts flowering in November and keeps flowering on and off till spring. The tree has pleasant autumn colur which I think is rarther late and extends into eaely november. It as a relatively small tree suited to moderate size gardens.

November is very late in the year for most things but I love a plant called Hellebore and mine have been blooming since late November and the flowers are just going over now. There are lots of different types but they are beautiful flowers and I'm sure if you look around on the internet you'll find some to suit your purpose.

The other thing you could do is to make a small remembrance display in a large pot or if you have a suitable patch of garden. That way you could have a few plants at their best throughout the Seasons. Some bulbs coming through in Spring is always a beautiful start to the year.

Remember too that if you use a pot or a planter you can take it with you if you ever move house.

Why do you take the foliage off then Verd. I can't remember that far back but I'd remember that and I didn't. Should I?

I do love my hellebores. I'll look after them better in future. Promise.
