Conifer Identification

I bought this conifer from my local garden centre last June. Green in summer but the needles turn orange/brown in winter but do not drop! I now have a perfect space for another but yesterday the local garden centre they had never seen anything like it and I've lost it's ID and details tab.
Any ideas?
