Yeah this is an old photo. This when we had it in the ground but it disappeared. Now we have had some growing out of a grow bag for two years. Planning to put in ground again.
Yes it does look like crocosmia and a very lovely colour as well. Crocosmia is a beautiful, reliable plant, however I have found that it can spread like wildfire when it's in a place it likes. I'm not saying you shouldn't plant it (I do have it in my garden) but if you need to move/remove/restrict it bear in mind that the original bulb will very often have lots of little bulbs attached to it, usually underneath so you may need to dig a bit deeper than you originally thought to remove them all. On the plus side you will probably find that you have a lot more bulbs than you thought and will end up with a lovely (immediate) dense display - that red will look fabulous in the late evening sun.
I'm glad everyone is loving it. It drives some folk mad. As Annie says when it likes it, it LIKES it and tends to spread like mad. I personally love it and have three colours. I bought yellow last year and it seems to be doing rather well. I also have a red one, Lucifer, which is much taller and in the evening sunshine they are all stunning.
I planted two clumps within my flower bed but I planted the little bulbs/corms into big plastic plant pots so that they are restricted within these pots in the flower bed. Where I wanted them to be more free growing I haven't put them in a plant pot but straight into the soil instead.
I will take a picture of It growing out of the grow bag and post tomorrow if I can. It has multiplied and gone out of control in there. I don't really have any space for it in the ground, so I'm not sure anymore that I will plant it out. At the moment it just looks like grass. Thanks for the spreading warning about it.

Crocosmia but I don't know which one.
Thank you
Yes, I would say Crocosmia too - the red is lovely - I have the common orange flower but still looks very striking against the green foliage.
