    Down here on the Isle of Wight the forecast says that night temperature may get as low as 7°C on Saturday but hardly frosty!! image

    We see snow in late May. But I'm afraid my plants have to tough it out!

    image Still toasty here but threatening a low of 7 overnight.

    Eleventy seven was the highest number my virtual nephew could come up with when he was little! It stuck for big numbers!

  • The metcheck weather internet site is good at predicting frost. You can enter your postcode or location.

    Plant pauper :) yes, we're off to Hosta & Verdun Land at the beginning of June. It's so kind of you to say you'll pop round here every evening to tend our toms and squashed - we're very grateful ;-)

    Well the frost didn't materialise, phew, got down to 2 degrees ..... I'm moving to verdun's part of the world too ! If we all jump up and down perhaps we can tilt England a little more south and west ?!?
