Recycling

imageimage

I am all for saving the pennies and recycling where possible. To add texture and design to my garden I love going through the charity shops. And I found too wonderful (well to me they are) lampshades, the silver ball shaped one that glistens in the sun. The other one with the lovely mosaic pattern on it that I planted up with flowers.

To be honest it isn't the sort of thing I would want in my garden, but each to their own.  It would be a boring old world if we all liked the same things.

I totally agree with you KT53, whatever floats a persons boat. You would not like them, whereas others would, that is how the world should be. Thanks.

Cute. It would be a boring world if we all liked the same things and its great that different people have different ideas about what makes a garden look good. If it makes people stop and smile, you have added a bit of sunshine to the world.

I think it's great!! Mine are plastic and a very interesting shade of black. I'll not post a picture...don't want anyone getting "dull" envy. image

I agree with the wow factor of the planting basket glass mosaic.  Gorgeous.  I never would have thought of that.
