Slug attack

in Plants
As anybody had experienced any slug attack against young perennial phlox
I propogated a number of these plants last year and planted then out in the last few weeks
In the last 7 days most of them have been stripped clean of any foliage, just leaving a rather worn down middle stems
Totally frustrating as in my experience slugs do not normally target this plant

Yes, they're eating anything and everything this year. I have been picking them off the phlox every night this week.
Hi Posy
Yes , same here. Just a bit strange that phlox paniculata is on their menu as I have never had a slug give this plant a hungry glance
As you have stated, nothing seems to be excused slug attack this spring
