Sambuccus Sutherland gold
Last year, on the advice of the site sages, I put a struggling potted sambuccus into the ground. It is doing really well and is full of blossom.
The branches are going in all directions and it seems that it will be a very wide shape. I can live with this, but would prefer if it was growing upwards faster than outwards.
The branches are still quite whippy. Can I tie something round them to train them a little closer together?
In London. Keen but lazy.
