We have had my daughters cat, Chewi (Chewbacca) a gorgeous long haired ginger, whose Mum was a British Blue. living with us for  about a month, its going really well.  Wasnt sure, we have always had cats and dogs, but either introducing a kitten to adult dogs, or puppy to adult cats, never had any problems, this time was an adult cat, adult dog who had never lived with other speciies.  Leo my toy, has lived with cats, no problem there, its quite comical, we had the odd blood curdling yell from Luna (border collie) thought she had been scratched by the cat, NO, we have watched them several times, she sneaks up on the cat, who merely turns and looks at her, or makes a move in her direction, and she yelps.  Unfortunately, Hubby wont let me keep him.  We took him on, because she was moving house, (has done now, Sunday before last)  Someone near her previous house was feeding him, and making him really ill, last year cost her a fortune in vet bills.  Then he started staying away for up to 3 weeks at a time, so obvisouly, once she moved it would have been a nighmare trying to locate him, so it was desided, once he came in, I would bring him back here, we met halfway, which ironically was at my youngest daughter house, so that was handy.

This is Sam, who died suddenly last Friday. He was a sweet dog - a bit timid. Always by my elbow. Even with two others still here, it seems very quiet without him  :(
