I saw a growth at the back of his small teath at the front of his mouth, had a x-ray,said the bone was infected. The op took a long time, the vet took the bone out and kept all the skin,he folded it from the sides into the middle. But he coped very well,it didn't stop him from eating or pickling things up. He said cats don't cope very well when they have it done.
Well, he hadnt been to bed since Saturday, he coughed a lot in the evenings, so much so he threw up (sorry, that might be too much information) so he didnt bother going to bed, I got him settled on the sofa, (I used to tell patients I had a degree in arranging pillows, when they told me they had never been so comfy!)Normally his alarm goes off at 5, silly me, I presumed he had reset it for 6, Dr appointment 7.10, only a couple of miles down the road, BUT rush hour on the A22, manic! I offered to print out his symptoms, (I did that before Dr was impressed) he said no, I could go with him, I got up at 5, (no alarm) toyed with the idea of staying up, but was sooooh tired, plus the dogs would get up, and he was asleep. So went back to bed, he came in, said I had better hurry up if I was going with him, as it would take 20 minutes to get there at that time in the morning, I staggered into the kitchen, it was 7.01! I rang his boss Monday, told him app was 7.10, aparently he told Hubby it was 7.30, course, I got the blame, I should have reminded him the previous night! I shoved him out the door alone, said apologise profusely, tell him you overslept because you hadnt been to bed for 4 nights. So, I didnt get to go with him, he has antibiotics, I said (ordered) take 1 straight away, space 2 in the rest of the day,k and you will feel better by tomorrow. He is getting better thank you, day by day, less coughing.
