Gigastic disappointment

KeenOnGreenKeenOnGreen Posts: 1,831

I bought some Angelica Gigas seeds 2 years ago.  Finally managed to get them to sizeable plants, which I was excited to think would flower this year.  I noticed today they look remarkably similar to my Echinops Ritro.  Please someone put me out of my misery, this is an Echinops isn't it? It's not that I don't love them, but I wanted Angelica Gigas.  Gutted that I now have to start from seed again.

Hi KeenOnGreen. We need to have a picture of your plant so we can help in identification.

It doesn't look like my angelica. It does look more like a thistle.

It could be worse as I do love Echinops. I at least still have some Angelica seeds left. Only another 2 years till I see any flowers. Ho hum...
