marguerite / fuchia - winter

I have in my garden (in planters) two marguerite trees and two fuchsias (climbing ones), I realise its a long time off but im wondering what I will need to do with them in the winter ? we haven't got a greenhouse - would they survive the winter as they are ? or could I buy one of those fleece blankets ? or would I have to bring them indoors ?
