NEW FENCE DILEMA

I have a large wisteria which is 30 years old and the branches are all intertwined around a lattice fence which really needs replacing . How do I support the large heavy branches. Removing the fence is not a problem as it is easy  to break up as it is so old but I don't know what to do instead . what do I do with all the intertwined branches as some are very thick and will need supporting. I like the openness of lattice panels as my garden is long but so wide .

Is this an internal fence to break the width of the garden, rather than a boundary fence?

If so perhaps you could make a rustic framework using chestnut poles that could give it some more robust support, but stilll give you the openness you want.
