Does anyone know whether Nandina is toxic to cats? Thanks

Hi Aethelflaed. Nandina is toxic to cats. I'm not sure that cats would actually chew or eat it though. I have nandina in my garden and none of my cats bother with it. Lilies are also toxic to cats and they don't bother with them either.
p.s. Lots of plants in our gardens are toxic to us - daffodils for example - as well as the more commonly known ones.
