Rainy days and Iris's

Although the weather outside is not nice today, lots of rain after the beautiful weekend of warm sunshine that we had. There is still that piece of magic in the garden called the Iris, that has such a beautiful colour with the raindrops gently resting on the petals. It brought a smile to my face on a very dreary day.

Jacqueline29 your pics are stunning. (Had a quick looky through after reading what aym said). There is a flower thread and a camera corner where your efforts would definitely be appreciated and maybe find a wider audience.

Every now and then it pops up when someone adds a pic and as I only look at "latest posts" I catch it on the way past. Coming into the season proper there may be more threads on peoples' stuff. It's amazing.
Beautiful! Mine are still weeks if not months from flowering you give me such enthusiasm for when they do appear.
