What to do with skimmias

Hi There everyone, I have three pots that each have a skimmia in.  they looked fab all autumn and winter in red bud and have now flowered.  what do I do with them now?  Should i cut the flower heads off?  should I plant them down the garden and then dig up again in september to put them in the pots again?  Or just leave them
