Hardening off potatoes

KeenOnGreenKeenOnGreen Posts: 1,831

Started our potatoes off in bags in the greenhouse. They will stay in the bags rather than in the raised beds. Do I need to harden them off or can I just put them straight out. We are in London so pretty mild nights now.

i put mine out a few weeks ago and only slightly chitted in garage.

i now have leafs showing in all bags so have already had to add more soil and i think some more soil for one bag again this weekend.

im nth kent and most things out now for good just watching out for any frost reports

I think I'll put them out now then. We have the advantage that as they are in bags we can put them back in the.Greenhouse if a frost is predicted.
