To feed or not to feed Kniophfia Limpopo?!

Hi all,
My Red Hot Poker is going great guns! Never grown them before so am unsure if I must feed them or not! If I should what feed do you recommend? Oh, should say they are in a continer at the moment!

Thank you so much thats wonderful! I got it last summer as a pressie (I think it came to me in a 9cm pot if my memory serves me right, I've planted it in a much bigger pot....) it's been out all winter and seems to have exploded over last few weeks, it has about 8 flower stems so far. I have heaps of farm manure and tomato feed but will go get some blood, fish and bone too!
