Leaf curl on four newly planted tree

I planted four trees in the garden. A pear tree, apple tree, cherry tree and amanogawa cherry.
The amanogawa cherry was planted three weeks ago and was doing well until today when I noticed the few blossoms that have appeared are going brown. Also the leaves are curling.
I planted the three fruit trees over the weekend and today noticed most of the leaves on them have curled.
The trees are planted along a west facing fence.
My soil is clay, and before planting I dug a large hole for each tree and incorporated some manure to the soil and also added a handful of Westland root builder at the bottom.
I have been watering the trees well and checked moisture level today and found moisture levels are high.
For the past two days it has been sunny and warm but also very windy with no rain.
Anyone know what's happening to trees

The same thing has happened to my flowering cherry. It was planted last year. It flowered well but then
some flowers started to die and the new leaves are all turning brown and curling. This has also happened to my lilacs they are well established and have been in the garden for well over 20 years.
