Ceanothus not flowering
I have posted this before but got no answers...........would love one!!
A Ceanothus Edinburgh that I have grown from a cutting I took while doing a course at the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. It has never flowered, it is very healthy looking and the leaves have a lovely shine. it is about 3 years old and about five foot tall. Any ideas how to persuade it to flower?

No, its not in a pot! Its in a sunny south east facing bed and looks fantastic. i wondered about the age thing, I think I will give it another year. Especially as today, when I was round the back of it I found one flower at ground level right against the wall! Thanks Tetley, that was a useful response, and I will definitely have a long chat with it. it is actually providing quite a useful function, part of the sort of hedge to define the bottom half of my garden, and so I won't take it out yet. I didn't realise they hated pruning, so it might become a problem. Thank you all.
