British weather...
Went to the Malvern Spring Show yesterday and spent far too much on plants (OK take the "far too much" back, you can't spend too much) and planned to get them planted today.
Temperature today must be in the low 20s C (over 70 in real money) and I'm melting after about 20 minutes. Why can't changes be gentle and sustained in this country?
I'll try again later once it cools back down.
The positive is that we had a great thunderstorm yesterday evening and it has softened the ground.

Callistemon, hostas, grasses, climbing hydrangea, podophyllum, ladybird poppy, and camassia.
I'm fortunate, or unfortunate, depending on outlook and wallet, that I have just about every aspect in the garden from dry deep shade, through light damp shade, to full sun. I'm in the slow and ongoing process of replanting the garden after having it gutted a couple of years ago.
