COMPOSTING WITH POISONOUS/MEDICINAL PLANTGS

I have some poisonous and medical plants in my garden such as brugmansia, aconitum and foxglove.  Is it safe to use compost from these plants in my vegetable garden?  Do all the toxins break down during the composting process?

I imagine so.  I haven't had a brugmansia for over 20 years but the remains of foxgloves, aconitum, rhubarb leaves and everything else goes on our compost heaps and the results get spread on both veg and flower beds.

Yes Larry, all plant toxins are destroyed during the composting process so the resulting compost is perfecty safe to use on your veg's. image
