It's warming up now - so more washing to go out. Making hay and all that image

Just don't do anything irrevocable ... looks like it's going to be cooler next weekend image

I just went out to have a look.

Turned to face the (usually) threadbare deciduous azalea and I was shocked by how much the leaf buds have developed in 24 hours!

The plant has changed completely from a brown bowl of stems, to a beautiful fresh fluffy green.

    Gobsmacked.

    The chives have burst open!

    Yay!

  • Fishy,

Up here in Lancashire we say,

" Never cast a clout until the may is out "

    The may is hawthorn.

    That's so pretty Dove.

I wasn't worrying, I have to admit - it didn't occur to meimage but so much is in bud now it is most exciting.

Agree with Lily Pily, I'm expecting the camassia to be super - even got buds on some I don't think came up last year and thought I'd lost. Expecting a bumper crop of eremurus too counting the spikes on my yellow clump.

    Good stuff?
