    Keenbutgreen, I am green your garden (and house) gorgeous.  I always go for New Dawn, small neat pale pink flowers, usually you get a repeat. Nice perfume, delicate, thorns, yes, but with an arch that size they wont be a problem.  I would also have Honeysuckle, so there is always some "interest"

  • Hi Nanny, thank you! I did look at New Dawn, so pretty! - in the end I think it came down to the shape of the blooms. So hard to choose though, there were so many which I liked!

    I love honeysuckle too, I've got a couple recently planted in the garden, so that's a great idea, thanks! :)
